Biography
bell hooks (born Gloria Jean Watkins) was a celebrated social justice educator, author, and activist. Her work in activism, feminism, race, and power has become canonical for teachers of all grade levels. She dedicated her life to understanding the interconnectivity of race, capitalism, and gender.
